Media and marketing have drastically changed over the last ten years. Where television and radio were the juggernauts of advertising, they have quickly become a dying breed due to the influx of channels social media has produced. Social media is more than just Facebook or Twitter. The internet and web-based technologies have turned common forms of communication almost obsolete as social media tools like Facebook and Twitter have enabled people from all over the world to interact with each other instantly. More importantly, these tools have created a venue for businesses to now enter the conversation of their customers and distribute their products or services to people in countries they’ve never been able to reach before.

Some have called social media a passing fad. Some think it is too complicated to work with.
